About Milan

If it’s your first time visiting, just know that Milan is famous for being the fashion capital of the world. It’s also home to the national stock exchange, being a financial hub. Many headquarters of the financial industry are based in this city. Along with its thriving fashion industry, there are plenty of lavish and unique restaurants and shops to explore. Since it is the country’s business center, it does tend to get pretty pricey. However, the experience alone is worth it.

If you’re done with shopping, Milan has so many iconic sights to see. The Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral is dedicated to the Nativity of St. Mary and is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. The Santa Maria delle Grazie convent houses Leonardo da Vinci’s mural, “The Last Supper,” is housed here.
