When is the Best Time to Visit

Málaga has a pleasant and blessed Mediterranean climate. That means it doesn’t get cold in winter and offer bearable temperatures. Generally, it remains warm in spring, summer, and autumn. The months from April to September are the best to visit the city. The temperatures remain between 17 °C (63 °F) and 27 °C (81 °F) even if it is summer.

You can enjoy occasional thunderstorms and rain in July and August. The weather cools down at nights, offering a perfect atmosphere to wander around the city. You can take a stroll on the King Pathway, one of the popular activities of tourists in summer. The famous beach “Playa de la Malagueta” is also crowded during spring and summer. Many people book a sunbed to enjoy building sandcastles and beach-read.

The longer days, pleasant weather and tons of cool outdoor activities make Málaga a perfect destination for the spring holidays.
