About Warsaw

If you had to visit any major city for its historical aspects and learn about the intense history, you visit the capital of Poland. World War II caused a lot of damage, completely destroying the city, causing them to rebuild it, which is why it gains the nickname Phoenix City. In 1980, the city became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features stunning paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.

If you really want to be humbled by the city’s rich history, there are many recommended tours that will let you see the Communism and Jewish communities back in World War II.

While you’re there, check out some architecture that is original to the city, such as the tallest building in Poland, the Palace of Culture and Science, or one of the first opened public libraries in the world that dates back to 1747.

Visitors can experience all of these important sites through a guided tour to retain all the humbling information, and even see hidden gems that not everyone knows about.
