When is the Best Time to Visit

The months of September through November and March to May are the best times for visiting Sydney, as they are just around the high and low seasons, meaning there’s plenty to do and see while you’re visiting, but you don’t have to deal with the typical tourist crowds. Plus, visitors get comfortable temperatures to explore the city.

The temperatures from September-November range between 21°C (70°F) to 23.8°C (74.8°F). March to May, the temperatures range from 25°C (77.7°F) to 20.6°C (69°F), making perfectly mild temperatures. Australia has summer at the end of the year when the southern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun, which is the opposite of North America, which is why the weather is fairly warm during those months.
