About Amalfi Coast

Visiting the famous Amalfi Coast along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula will offer you sheer cliffs, a rugged shoreline, and lots of adventurous activities

If you are looking for photo-worthy spots, look no further. This vacation destination is popular for its small but beautiful beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. The coastal road between the port city of Salerno and clifftop Sorrento winds past grand villas with terraced vineyards and Cliffside lemon groves make for the most stunning scenes the coast has to offer. This can also be a very romantic spot for couples.

For coffee lovers, there’s an ancient monastery-turned-hotel called the Capuchin Convent. Legend has it that the Capuchin monks who lived there were the first to add warm milk to their coffee, creating the Cappuccino.

One of the Coast’s most ancient activities is the art of ceramics, there are many architectural pieces around that you’ll notice and appreciate. Amalfi also makes thick, handmade paper called “bambagina” which is a unique product. Overall, the Coast is perfect for any summer, spring, winter, or fall day.
