During this cooking class, I will teach you how to cook delicious traditional sourdough bread. The same recipe was used by many generations of housewives here in Karia village of Lefkada. The process of making bread is adapted to the appliances of the modern kitchen and is very easy to include in your daily life. 

We meet in the morning to start working with our sourdough starter. I will give you a bit of theory as well. As I prepared an extra sourdough in advance, we start kneading the dough without waiting a long time. While the dough will need some time before baking, I will show you some simple recipes of traditional Greek dips, that you can serve with bread. We will also have tea/ coffee or home-made wine and try ready home-made bread with freshly cooked dips, while the bread is baking.

Making home-made fresh bread is an unforgettable experience and a healthy habit, as the bread has no yeast at all. My mission is to show the simplicity of baking sourdough authentic bread and adapting it to your daily schedule:)
